i'm going back and watching the SYR show even though when you play tapes back on the camera it gets all these lines everywhere...i need to get my mom to get that adapter for the 8mm tapes to vhs...watching the show should improve my mood though...it's already started to...

Are the lines permanent or are the just displayed during that one playback?

the lines are there when you play anything on the camera, unless you hold the camera a certain way, then the lines disappear...i went to Wolf Video just now and they said that there isn't an 8mm to vhs adapter...hrm...
