our back door was fixed yesterday! i haven't had the chance to try it out myself yet, but should i actually leave the house today, whew boy would that be fun! yesterday afternoon Mary Beth and i went to my parents'...we swam...got a couple late birthday presents...this cheap but neat "Finger Drums"...it's a pad and you move your fingers around it and it makes drum sounds...it doesn't respond too well...and it has a thing where you can record and playback...when you play it back it only plays once and doesn't loop like you'd think it should...even though it has a demo function that does in fact loop like a drum machine...also there are more sounds on the demo drums than you can use by touching the pad...still it's a fun little toy...oh, and it also suffers terribly from a lack of an output jack, just the cheap little built-in speaker...also for some reason she gave me that Norbit movie (you know, that Eddie Murphy! playing a skinny nerdy guy AND a big fat woman AT THE SAME TIME!? total comedy mastery!) we tried to watch it last night, just for kicks...i could only make it maybe 30 minutes into before i just couldn't take it anymore...so bad...but if you like really obvious fat jokes strung together then this just may be the movie for you...i may go off and sell it with a few other things i've been hanging onto that i don't like so much if so i feel inclinded today...hrm...i think that's all...
