that first update in a long time...
i don't think i remember anything that's happened...uh...weeks and weeks with no internet...the trip to Chicago was awesome but that'll get its own post...my and Mary Beth's birthday(s) was(ere) fun...that'll also get its own post...damn, this is gettin' to be pretty scant...trivia this week most of the team couldn't make it but Frank and i tagged along with another team (the one that usually has "turd sandwich" embedded somewhere in its weekly team name...) it was pretty sweet as we got second place, the first time i'd placed in a while! now i can't think of anything else other than rounding it up with the books i've finished reading since my last post: monday 07/09: Neuromancer by William Gibson, monday 07/16: The Unvanquished by William Faulkner, thursday 07/19: Count Zero by William Gibson, tuesday 07/24: If on a Winter's Night a Traveler by Italo Calvino, and friday 07/27: Mona Lisa Overdrive by William Gibson...it seems like there SHOULD be more i should say (barring i'm sure the more lenghty upcoming "special" posts) but i can't remember nothin' so there you go...oh wait! duh...last night i saw The Simpsons Movie...went with Mary Beth, Dustin, Nate, and Ryan...it was really awesome! i somehow managed not to think about it and have any expectations high or low and it was really funny...of course there was some worry that it could possibly suck, but the proof was in the pudding...it was just like a good episode of the show except an hour and a half long...with a smattering of things they couldn't get away with on the tv...oh yeah, also i had to wake up early today to take Horace in for his yearly shots and visit and stuff at the vet...he's fine, he did gain like 2 pounds (they said he's 17 pounds, almost 18...yikes!) and of course he was mad...and when we came back home he went up to my room door and when i came near he wanted to show he was mad at me so he ran off into Mary Beth's room to show me! and to tell me what a jerk i'd been he decided he'd hide under her bed...well, he couldn't fit under her bed...that was funny...the end...
