Mary Beth and i went to the greek festival yesterday...expensive, i guess as is in the way of festivals, but pretty swell as we were there for four hours just slowly eating everything...and the food was good so, yeah...oh yeah, and that "meal" was the only thing i ate/hate to eat all day as i didn't eat before we went and was full all night...Dustin's mom and very younger half-brother have just moved here and have been temporarily staying here...Dustin's very younger half-brother Gabe, who is like five or something, was playing with me yesterday and using me as a jungle gym...it's cute and funny 'cuz now it seems he thinks i'm his best friend...well, anyway, i guess i'm out of stuff to say...

I was going to go but found out it was $12. I don't really have $12.

? it was only 2 bucks to go in, but then every food item had a price.

Weird. Their website says 12. But I look at it again now and it says that's the price including salad and meal. It does say event admission is $2. But I didn't see that. It says 12 above that and I didn't read further.

Oh well... $2 is a lot for me at the moment anyway. Greek fest always seems to fall right before payday.

yeah...$2 admission and then dinners were $10...or if you ate anything else you'd spend at least $10 (assuming you're hungry...) and then this doesn't even include overpriced drinks...it's probably not something i'll do every year, but it was fun to have done once...i think their pricing guideline was "how much should we charge for this?" "[x]" "okay, then double it..." i ate a lot of good food though...

yeah, i think i heard if you bought advance tickets the dinner (which was delicious, and 10 dollars) was free, but now based on what you say it sounds more like it just means the advance tickets were 12 and included cover and dinner. hm.

but but but, you miss a chance to enjoy retsina and greek herby food goodness in the sun with likeminded relaxed people!

i'm just rambling. the desserts were yum too though.

i hope to go to the italian festival that happens later on, too...
