ooh...we had almost had a show, a touring band wanted us to play with 'em and they were setting the show up themselves (or through a friend of theirs or something...good as no clubs will have anything to do with us directly...) but they were having trouble confirming a date and something came up elsewhere so it fell through...sad sad...anyway, today i finished reading Rouse Up O Young Men of the New Age! by Kenzaburo Oe...and trivia's not happening tongiht 'cuz people are out of town...ah well...

The ice show thing is my requisite nerdy Simpsons reference for the year. Where they're at that ice show, and that Grumble guy is like the Grinch, right? And Homer flips out because he's trying to steal Christmas.

I never get on LJ anymore, but when I do, I talk about the Simpsons and Zelda. My god.
