Dustin wanted to go to guitar center so we (him, me, Mary Beth) went...i played with a "Little Phatty"...it sounds awesome...i'm not so crazy about the interface with the shared knob functions...it's not too bad but...makes me excited about eventually getting a Voyager which will just be awesome...yay in that i don't have to work tomorrow...nay in that i'm going to court...and it's early in the morning so boo hoo...

the little phatty does look/sound pretty awesome. name is horrible. real short on knobs. if they just put out a sub-1000, simple, fully analog moog they would positively CLEAN UP.

yeah...as i plan on getting the Voyager hopefully in a few months it makes the "Little Phatty" (somehow putting it in quotes lessens the damage...like: i don't really want to be saying this) a bit of a moot point...i have considered maybe years in the future getting one as an addition to the Voyager and all my Moogerfoogers for a total synth explosion or something...as well as a possible substitute synth for traveling, etc...i was pretty disappointed by the knob situation tonight though...i'd be all about a simple sub-1000 Moog if it had knobs for everything! skip the presets and bring back the knobs!

yeah thats what i mean... no presets just knobs. i think the microkorg/alesis ion market would be all over it. did you ever get your liberation working?

well, it works, it just still has that weird problem with the keyboard...like a month ago i brought it out and tried controlling a the oscillator on my MF ring modulator with the cv, but i couldn't get it to sync in tune right...like, i'd tune the oscillator to the Liberation and as i'd change notes the oscillator wouldn't change at quite the same interval...there are two knobs controlling its cv out...i tried adjusting 'em every way possible...maybe it needs calibration? i don't know...anyway, my point: the synth itself works, the keyboard just works funnily...
