i had a revelation at work today! about how i can make the no book situation stop sucking! i think i'll try it out tomorrow...more words on it then i guess...the end...
the library bookstore like ALWAYS has first editions of Ada...i have one and like everyone i know has one and i've seen 'em used for no more than $2 like more frequently than it seems i should...
anyway, my revelation had to do with giving up on books, but i could copy a few pages of spanish stuff and tack it to my cubicle and i'd be able to study and get back into knowing it...like a page of vocabulary words a page of verb conjugations and page of miscellaneous grammar, etc...with an 8 hour day i'd DEFINITELY fucking know what i had up there by the end...and that's my "out" possibly if i can relearn spanish...well, it's something anyway...
I don't know how you've managed there as long as you have, the ip-relay/trs breakdown into one huge sucky department would have been the end of it for me. I still miss that job the way it was when the ip department was like 2 desks in a corner.
well i was never in trs anyway...i dunno, my few motivations for working there: reading, the nice 10:30-7 schedule, and complete lack of responsibility...of course they're just fucking it all up...the place really seems to be going to hell right now...like, really and not just in its everyday sense...

Audiobooks?
I think it is "A Russian Beauty and other short stories"
There's a first edition of Ada for $25. I would've bought that, but it would have been super unwieldy on the elliptical...
