new yawk new yawk

turns out the reason Super Mario World won't save anymore is 'cuz it's a fucking bootleg! i'm fucking pissed to fucking fuck off about that! it's been so long since i got it too...and it saved fine at first so i didn't expect anything was wrong...but i hadn't played it in a really long time...i don't even exaclty remember where i got it (probably ebay of half.com, but i'm not too certain...i'm pretty sure an amazon seller is ruled out 'cuz they actually keep track of that information and i checked...oh well...) i guess nothing i can do about it now except now i know how to spot a counterfeit game...fuckers...anyway, at least i'm going to NEW FUCKIN' YAWK tomorrow! well, leaving for new fuckin' yawk anyway...i suppose i'll arrive wednesday night...too bad i can't stay all weekend...ah well...i need to do crap like pack and boring getting ready stuff tonight...uh, the end...

How DO you spot a counterfeit game?

the sure-fire way to really tell if a game's counterfeit is if you look in the cartridge at the card (you'll probably need to hold it up to a light/use a flashlight), just past the connector pins it should say "nintendo" printedo on the card...if not then it's definitely a counterfeit...much less obvious signs that i've since noted (that you can really only tell held up next to a legit copy) is the color of the plastic is just a HAIR darker (at least on mine, maybe other counterfeits are slightly lighter or whatever) and while the same text is molded on the back of the cartridge, it's just a little bit bigger on the counterfeit...but really the bottom line is "nintendo" being printed on the card or not...and if you've got a game that isn't saving (or stopped keeping games saved sometime after u got it) then check for that 'cuz it's most likely a counterfeit...thus ends spotting a counterfeit GBA game 101...

Nintendo printedo. Nintendo printedo. Nintendo printedo. It's fun to say.

it's also apparently easier to type than "nintendo printed"...
