started working on my novel (again)...nothing to get all worked up over yet, as there's about two paragraphs so far...and then last night i got stuck for several hours searching for a word that i believe probably doesn't exist...ah well...hopefully i'll pick back up on it again tonight...that's about it for now...

Ah those little distractions can really kill you. I have to do most of my writing on a computer with no internet, mark things that I want to look up, and do it later.

i'm terribly distracted especially by things not related to writing (or whatever i happen to be trying to do at any given moment...) i have to write in a completely different room than my computer...i prefer writing by hand anyway...then i'll type it up at some later date, it's also useful in that i HAVE to process every last word a second time for second draft...though i find i don't change what i've already written too often, but as evidenced by the fact that i spent hours trying to think of ONE word before i'd continue the other night, i'm pretty anal and meticulous about what gets written before it's even down on paper...
