hole in the floor

last night Josh came over and we recorded the bass line for the Silkworm cover...it went pretty well...i did some wacky microphone trickery...i suspended it down inside the main a/c vent in the floor and had the amp right next to the hole...it went pretty well...he also brought back the soldering iron so hopefully soon i can finish the theremin! when i got home from work today i finished reading Vineland by Thomas Pynchon...Amber came over and we had another drum lesson...i must say i'm impressed by the rapid improvement of my protégé! uh...i guess that's it...

Okay, I'm totally not one to blow my own horn, but I have to say that I am amazed by my improvement too! I went from not being able to control my limbs independently to playing any beat you showed me within a week's time! I think that I owe my success to my great teacher. (:
