and...
on friday i got my car towed to firestone...they said the engine's shot...so now i'm officially in the market for another car...i have an appointment for next friday with Brad's cousin, i think, who works at a used car place...hopefully they'll have something worthwhile...Brad says they're cheap...hopefully this is the case as well...yesterday The Family Ghost got together and recorded "The Longest Day of the Year"...it went very well...there was some trouble at first getting the bass to sound right but we finally got it...the first run through the song was filled with mistakes and not played well at all (not to mention the bass and the guitar other than mine were out of tune...though out of tune together so it sounded like my guitar was off...) but then the second time we learned our mistakes and crap and we played it perfectly...it was beautiful...we even go the glockenspiel and the vocals overdubbed...the evening was spent at Jacques/Amber's with them and Amanda and Jason...we had indian...then later, after watching Shaun of the Dead (so i've already got zombies on my mind), i was taking a dump and after i'm in there a little while Chainsaw (their cat) leaps from the curtained bathtub...i yelled at him, but everyone made fun of me and said i screamed...but they're all a bunch of homos anyway...then today Justin picked me up and we hung out at David's empty apartment with Gato...we watched Red Dawn...now i'm home alone...yeah, fun stuff...
