houses and other things...
yesterday i got Namcomuseum Vol. 2 for the PS1 in the mail...Mappy, Super Pac-Man, Gaplus, and then some!!! oh, and i forgot to mention that the day before i got some reel tapes in the post as well as 2005 Novel & Short Story Writer's Market...back to yesterday, Justin came over...i started on the first of my dishes for tonight's festivities...the mango salsa...Justin even gave me some assistance...the results for that one are bombastic...hopefully the other two i'll be cooking today will turn out anywhere near that well...then later that evening we went to David/Monika's and hung out a little while...my grandmother's husband is in the hospital now...he had some surgery, removing a tumor or something...i'm not sure of the specifics, but they said he has about 6 months to live...so that's a bit of a bummer, to say the least...i went and looked at a house this afternoon...Jacques accompanied me...there are some if's but it could be my strongest possibility anyway...as i kind of only have one other possibilty...i guess i'll think about it...maybe i'll have a place...maybe not...we'll see i guess...

oh damn...i forgot another thing...while Jacques and i were driving today, we were going down Park and there was this dog that started walking in the street...the suv in front of us had stopped and they got out and were trying to get the dog back on the sidewalk...then i got out too and tried to help 'em...the dog wouldn't go near us though...the other land had stopped to and we succeeded in blocking the street off...how awesome is that? then the dog ran off to the other side of the street managing not to get run over by the cross-traffic...it seemed like it might stick to the sidewalk so we took back off...going back i made sure to go another way, scared of what i might see...hopefully the dog managed alright...
