so i finally got all that straightened up...i thought there would be problems with an smtp server with my current hosting, but i finally just tried it and it sends mail out just fine...so, uh...woo...there are also 3 other dudes, with a new email address...we haven't played a show in months, but The Family Ghost is now EMAIL-EQUIPPED!!!
anyway, last night i went over to Jason and Amanda's for some movie watchin'...we watched Xiu Xiu: the Sent-Down Girl and Breakin'...i personally couldn't think of two movies that go together as well...and i was leaving to go over there i noticed a small package lying on the floor of our entryway...it was funny 'cuz i didn't notice it when i came home...but it was MX-80: Out of Control, patiently waiting for me...and i was super-thrilled to receive it! i'd been looking everywhere as it's apparently out of print now for some strange reason...i finally found it like almost two months ago at Forced Exposure...then i don't hear anything so i figured it was like amazon.co.uk (who i also ordered it before i was greeted with an email weeks later saying they could not get it in...i hate it when places keep stuff in their catalog they DON'T and CAN'T get...) but finally like two weeks ago i received a strange email that my credit card was expired (the date they gave me was wrong and for last year so i responded with the correct) then a week later they said it had shipped! i was still sort of skeptical, but here it is!!! in all it's rock'n'roll glory!!! but speaking of getting stuff, i need to hurry and go to the post office where another package is sitting, waiting for me...
