the air condioner was being worked on this morning...while i was asleep...one of the unit things is in the attic whose door is right next to my bed (3 feet away) the other is in the part whose door is just outside my room...somehow i managed to sleep through the hammering and power drilling and workers going through my room, etc...i did hear a lot of it, but at least i managed to stay asleep...though i guess i didn't sleep very well...i went over to Justin's for a brief bit, after which i drove around some and then went to Turtle's where i spent too much money...i got some dvds:

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut
and some cds:
Clinic: Walking with Thee
Yo La Tengo: Tom Courtenay single
All Tomorrow's Parties 2.0
though i noticed, after purchasing it, that the DK dvd is only 30 min long...oh well, it was pretty cheap (one of the main reasons i chose it...) so i guess all is not lost or whatever...then i met Paul out at the $2 movie theater and we saw Old School...not a good movie (though i believe the best of what they're currently showing there) but it did have moments that were very funny...worth $2 on a night with nothing to do...we met Shawna as she got off work, seeing Adam as well...Adam went home and the rest went and ate at Huey's in Cordova...but on the way i got a fucking ticket...disregarding a stop sign...it was on the exit ramp from the interstate onto Germantown Rd...normally exit ramps off interstates have yeild signs...i just noted that no cars were coming and did the usual exiting interstate proceedure...then i fucking got pulled over...and given a ticket...fucking bullshit...anyway, i finally managed to get to Huey's...ate...and now i'm home...i think they'll be working on the a/c again tomorrow...maybe i should do some sleeping earlier so i'll have more quiet sleep...
