I always have trouble deciding between sister and daydream nation. both are superior, but for different reasons. today i am in a sister mood. i think...
i don't do nothin'! it's all Goo! and i'm not saying it's a bad album...it's quite the good album...but such a step down from their others in so many ways...everything good about it was done infinitely times better on Daydream Nation...
the brillance of Daydream Nation lies in its subtle beauty...its as gentle as it is abrasive, and often in the same moment...the depths of texture are astounding...Goo is prob'ly their least subtle album...a criticism acknowledged by Thurston Moore himself...
