alive and the rest...

it turns out that my programming assignment (which i have dubbed Project Pong) has been postponed another week...very good...but i should not let that keep me from starting! don't procrastinate! don't procrastinate! when i got home from class, Goblin's Suspiria soundtrack was waiting for me in the mail...woohoo! this really cute girl just got hired at Camy's...she was interviewing or whatever when i arrived...though she'll be a day driver, which means we prob'ly won't be working together very much...but who know maybe (this is the funny part) she'll ever talk to me some...(see, i'm pretty fuckin' hilarious...) not too much else to say about the workin' night...i took an alternate route coming home in order to better avoid cops...it worked...well, i didn't get pulled over or anything...maybe i wouldn't've had i treaded my normal path...after all, i did go for MONTHS w/out getting pulled over for my light...but i guess once they start noticing it they don't stop or something...hrm...it's just me and the doggies hanging out at the house tonight...i think i may have a fuckin' party and watch Brazil tonight...WOO!

the fucking AMAZING kind...it's directed by Terry Gilliam...i know, i'll quote this sentence from the back of the box that gives a nice, brief overview: "Pitting the imagination of a common man against the oppressive storm troopers of the Ministry of Information, this bitter parable for the Information Age is more relevant than ever." it's a bit surreal, paranoid, and claustrophobic...reminds me a lot of Kafka...and while i've never seen Metropolis, it seems that movie had a huge influence on this as well...
