went back to Lastchance yet AGAIN:

the ones i got yesterday were just so fucking good i had to go back for the others...spending WAY too much money but it's damned worth it, i say...and by the way, these Tom Waits albums are definately among his best work...i wanna make a mix tape just so i can put "Kommienezuspadt" on it...that's prob'ly his best song EVER...after work practice happened...woohoo! we went over those songs we wrote the other week and then, WROTE TWO MORE NEW SONGS! another woohoo! they fucking rule too...the first is kind've a standard me & Jacques on guitar, Paul on bass, and Brad on drums...but the next song, Brad went to the glockenspiel so i hopped behind the drums...it makes the first song written w/ me on the drums w/ the whole band...and our second glockenspiel song...ROCK! after that was a brief stint at Neil's for krokieokie...i did "When a Man Loves a Woman"...now i'm home...oh, and i had bid on the Ryko issue of Bowie's Heroes before i left for work and now that i'm back home i've found that i won...rock on!

well i'll take you up on that threat anyway...i'm usually terrible about them myself, but now that i have no school to use as an excuse (as in "i can't be making a mix tape now, i should be studying even though i'm not and prob'ly won't...") i don't know if making mix tapes is supposed to be fun or not, but it is...

that's my favorite birthday party album, close second being mutiny or the bad seed...
i haven't heard alice yet, but i do have blood money, which is really amazing. i have to give it another listen. i adore tom waits infinitely.

of the two i now have i'd have to say i like Hee-Haw the best...although Prayers on Fire certainly does rule as well...
