Up

This week was a little sad and busy with us house and dog sitting for Josh and Molly. Mary Beth stayed over, while I stayed behind at home. I went over every day after work to feed and let out the dogs. Tuesday was the Chemistry pilot EOC. I was in the auditorium. Um, things quickly coming to a close. Last week was my last real full week. Seniors are about to take their final exams along with EOCs starting up next week. Thursday I went over to my parents' after Josh and Molly's. Next week (actually starting today), I have to check on my grandmother every day after school. That's gonna be even more driving. I got to go to the gym Friday after school. I had just gone up in the bench and wasn't optimistic as I've been back down to once a week. I got a spot, but was surprised when I didn't even need it. So that made me feel all nice and tingly. Mary Beth and I went out to Bar DKDC again (realized it's not an actual Jamaican place, but they change the menu up every month and base it on a different type of food). All the food was as awesome as it seemed it'd be. Yesterday Jacques came over early and we started on recording the drums again for "Cameras." Was able to lay down the bass and hi-hat on the verses. Then we went with Mary Beth to the Brooks to see 56 Up. So, now to just wait seven more years for the next installment. We ended up getting some Pho Saigon (and I think we all ended up with some "issues" later...ppppbbtttthhhh!) Jacques and I spent the rest of the evening working out synth parts for an intro to "Histrionics." It sounds pretty damn awesome. Need to do some work today. In my last post I neglected to mention that last Saturday I got a couple books in the mail: The Review of Contemporary Fiction Summer 2012 | Vol. XXXII: Gert Jonke's "Individual and Metamorphosis and The Review of Contemporary Fiction Fall 2012 | Vol. XXXII: The Future of British Fiction. I had been questioning whether my subscription had expired and I'd forgotten to renew it. Not sure why they skipped sending the one out til the next was available. Anyway, will be a nice day if I ever get around to reading them. Also, I'm coming down with a sore throat since last night. Damn.
