that's the best john cusack. then maybe the character from better of dead. although that movie was a little weird, especially when the claymation burgers started dancing to vanhalen.

even though he was listening to The 13th Floor Elevators...is Better off Dead the one where he's like this artist (or at least guy who's always drawing stuff, usually like a hippo i think...) and i think there's a yacht race at the end or something...

yeah... he's always drawing stuff and there's a ski race at the end where he goes down some super tough course on one foot.

was it skiing or sailing? 'cuz i remember a sailing race and at the end they lose the sail and he has to get the little ball at the end of the rope through the hole at the top of the mast, but through the whole movie there's the thing w/ him sucking at basketball and never making shots, but he makes the big shot to save the race at the end, of course...unless i'm confusing movies, or they're both part of the movie...i just have this memory of this John Cusack movie that i loved when i was younger but i haven't seen it in years and i've been wondering what it was...but there might be some movie memories being jumbled...for sure he was drawing all the time and i'm pretty sure it involved hippos being killed by rabbits...

dude, i only took it once...is it such a stretch of the imagination that i'd just happen to be a character that's an obsessive record collector?
