Yesterday, among other things, brought Mary Beth and I to the library so she could fix her voter registration. While there I took a peek in the bookstore and picked up just a few: Great Short Works of Herman Melville, Marcel Duchamp: Appearance Stripped Bare by Octavio Paz, and The Traveller's Tree by Patrick Leigh Fermor. We went and tried out Sweeden Kreeme and it was pretty awesome, though we got way too much. I can't pass up the most excessive option the first time somewhere so I got a triple burger and a jump shake. Both were awesome but we ended up full the rest of the day. Back home I did a little bit of recording. Added a new drum part to the song I was working on before I left as well as did some processing to the old drum part (hard synced three oscillators to it). This morning I went to a "new teachers" orientation (we didn't get one last year, so they had last year's new teachers attend today too) at my school. Yeah, it's summer's last breath. I at least now know what I'm teaching next year (at this point): "Bridge Math" and Geometry. At least it's not three preps. I'm glad to get Geometry again. Bridge Math is this new class, not completely sure what's gonna go down with that (not even sure if they have a book for it). Anyway, whatever. After that went to the gym and went full on into the tabata intervals for the first time without a break splitting 'em in two. I do feel better after this workout. Anyway.
