yesterday Mary Beth went out on the town and went to La Espiga...never been to their bakery so we totally did some mexican bakery ransacking...the girl checking us out didn't speak any english at first she asked other customers if they did "¿habla inglés?" and then if we spoke any spanish so i had to step forward with my "un poco" and badly spoke some minimal spanish for the first time in forever...i really should pick it back up...maybe going to mexican bakeries more often will motivate me or something...i dunno...i used my fingers more than speaking really, pointing at stuff under the counter and holding up my index finger with an "uno"...the most advanced i said was "bajo" when i was referring to something on the bottom shelf...anyway, we got two sackfulls of pastries and ate them in the garden ridge parking lot and it was damn good...later in the evening we hung out with Jacques and Amber and then went to Brad and Sherri's for a night of hanging out and stuff...we're pretty much done housesitting now...though Josh and Molly come back sometime this evening so we'll probably be back sometime tonight to let the dog out and all that and be there when they get back and drop the key off and all that...it's been fun hanging out with Stella and Scully...
