friday i took the tape machine apart again...this time i removed the track cards and cleaned them and reinserted them...i thought they were working right again but they are most definitely not...later the band came over and we had our first practice practice in months (you know, we'd been recording and stuff...) it was okay...a little disorganized, but i think we'll be ready for the show this friday...yesterday i did laundry and saw the dogs and all that...after i came home i sat around and didn't do anything once again...oh yeah, i did get some tape head cleaner and cleaned the tape head on the recorded as well as all the parts the tape comes in contact with, etc...i guess it was good to do that since it was pretty dirty, but it didn't help with the specific problem at hand...i also got a can of compressed air...haven't used it yet...but the inside (especially the back of the main circuit board) is super-super-dusty...i doubt it'll fix the problem at hand but it's worth a shot as it definitely needs it anyway...well, i guess that's all...
