friday night i was dragged to go see Alien Vs. Predator with Amanda, Jason, Jamie, and Matt...it was pretty much excactly what i expected...a big load of lame crap...i could go on and on about how lame it is but that would be boring...yesterday in the early afternoon i had one of the awesomest things i've ever eaten...more culinary genius from Printer's Alley...it's this burger and not only does it have the burger meat but on top of that there's curried chicken!!! it fucking blew my boner halfway around the world...then The Family Ghost practiced...it was pretty good..."The Great War" is starting to become something again...now Jacques is permenantly switched to bass and Josh to guitar...then after that was the grand celebration for Justin's birthday...we (Justin, Brad, and myself) gathered at Jacques and Amber's and then the five of uf ventured out into the depths of southeast memphis to eat at that korean place...once again i'll state that i don't HATE korean food, but it's not really one of my favorite things either...the best thing i've had off their menu so far are the fried dumplings...which are off the japanese page of their menu...then back to Jacques/Amber's...i had given Justin the first season of Reno 911! as a present and we proceeded to watch it...and several hours later we had managed to watch almost the whole goddamned thing...all but like two episodes...before i had never really thought too much of the show...i mean, i had thought it was funny in parts but overall i didn't find it too funny...but last night changed my opinion and i'm now converted to thinking it's pretty great...one of the things Jacques and Amber had gotten him was this Def Leppard dvd and we watched some of that next...then Jacques put on a good ol' Kiss bootleg...from '77, not as good as their 80s stuff, but still pretty dern funny...also though the course of this dvd madness, Jason and Amanda came over for some kickin' it...they arrived somewhere in the middle of the first disc of Reno 911! and left a couple songs into the Kiss...so it was a jolly, festive evening we had ourselves...now moving on to less jolly, festive stuff: the next few days are gonna suck...my parents are gonna be out of town 'til wednesday (they left early early this morning) and i have to housesit even though my sister lives there too, because they don't trust her at all...not that i don't blame them for that or anything...just having to temporarily relocate is a pain...but at least i'll get to hang out with the doggies bunches...that part should be awesome at least...anyway, i should technically probably have been over there by now...i should start getting ready or something...
