the armpit of asia (or so it tastes...)

yesterday evening Justin and Mary Beth introduced me to korean food, which i had never had before...i was just hearing talk about it being the best thing ever so it was unfortunate to say that i was disappointed by the hype...i mean, it wasn't terrible but i didn't really think much of it at all...everything's picked in salty fish sauce or something and even the vegetables taste like stale fish intestines...the barbecue stuff is pretty good, but i'd have to say, from my single experience, korean ranks at the bottom of the asian foods i've had...though i did get a tape of a korean church service (spoken in korean, of course) it's somewhat amusing hearing the "amen"s following the stream of incomprehensible stuff and the familiar, bad church song in a another language...uh...after that the three of us sat around playing video games and stuff...today at work i was guruing this trainee for a little bit...i have to be back in an hour for overtime...i guess that's all i have to say...
p.s.
i just glanced at this post again and realized that of the 4 times i said "korean" i spelt it "koren" EACH time..i've corrected my mistakes and if i've offended any koreans out there with my misrepresentation of the romanization of that modifier towards all aspects of your national heritage, then just think of how your foul cuisine has offended me...(no, it's not that bad, but things are much funnier when you use words like "foul" and "cuisine"...)
