there's SO much i discovered last night that i'd love to talk about, but i'll probably wait, if i do ever get around to talking about it here...i'm sure at least bits and pieces will trickle out here and there...but anyway...before i started working today i was taken aside and presented a certificate for 6 consecutive months of perfect attendance...to go with it i got a free day off! fuckin' sweet! but it's kind of funny...they were a little late with all that...today marked the completion of my eighth month of perfect attendance...ah well, an extra day off is always nice...one thing about work, they've just recently started it so that if either trs or ip is getting busy calls from one will start getting routed to the other's operators...to balance it out, etc...which i guess is nice on one level 'cuz ip gets busy far more than trs so it's mostly them taking our calls...but it means out of nowhere we'll get goddamned trs calls...and the whole thing happened really without any warning...and the traning i got on all the different types of calls was pretty shitty...no on the job training in trs at all...we didn't even have a lab (i.e. lame example practice calls) for vco calls...i got one today...it's not really that hard, but i had to figure out how to do it...and trs is most annoying 'cuz due to the way the system is tty machines or whatever you can't really backspace like you can in ip...there's no end to how much that gets on my nerves...anyway, 99.9% of you have no clue as to anything i just said...moving on...that present that i talked about in yesterday's post that hadn't come yet did come today!!! sweet timing...uh, and i also got a cd for me: The Hafler Trio: Walk Gently through the Gates of Joy...bitchin'...Amanda's birthday celebration is tonight...i suspect her and Jason should be over here in a little while...i'm hungry...i can't wait to eat some sushi an' shit!
