waking up
after i did all the mailing and stuff yesterday, i went to the school to drop off my group member evaluations w/ my english professor...on the way i stopped off at CD Warehouse where i got Public Image Ltd.'s Second Edition...after i did the thing at the school, i went back to Wherehouse Music to get this Firewater cd (The Ponzi Scheme) for $3...then to Ze Apartment...Jacques and i dropped off videos at Black Lodge and got some more: La Blue Girl, Full Metal Jacket, and The Beyond...(no, we're not pathetic...) then we went to go that über-Chinese super-death buffet near the Mall of Member, but there was a fucking wait so we went to A-Tan buffet instead...then back to The Apartment...after a while Jenna came over and we started watching Beat Street...it's the cinematic equivalent of pizza...then David and Brad walked in at the same time and we started playing this new game David discovered...it's like A Thousand Blank Cards...and it's pretty much everyone makes these game cards to play against each other and then you make up the rules as you go along or something...it's very surreal rock'n'roll or something...oh yea, Brad, being the sweetie that he is, gave me a hunnert dollars for my bass...so i can get it out of layaway today...woohoo! or something...oh yea, and then we watched the King Diamond video...it ruled...
something i forgot to mention last time: on monday when i went over to Justin's, i brought a video tape so i could tape the big event which was to be rerun that night: Sonic Youth's last appearance on Conan...but Justin being the cheap bastard that he is had a "vcr" w/out a record button...so i called my mom and asked her to tape it and she did...how nice, eh?
