Crime: not rocking; Punishment: a heavy dose of ballztomp!!

i finally got to use my two 15 minute "break-on-me"s today...unfortunately not at lunch, just for my last break...making it a total of 45 minutes, which is sweet, but not as sweet as an hour lunch break would be...oh well, as i'd been trying to use 'em for the past two and a half weeks to no avail, i thought i should at least grab it up when i had the chance...in this time i went to the thrift store nearby...i might have gotten a few books or something but they started closing just after i got there so i didn't feel it was worth the bother...then i went to Yarbrough's and got some guitar cables 'cuz uh, i guess i had nothing better to do/get...after work i was greeted with the 1/4" snake cables i had ordered to connect my pedals to my new patch bay...i had a little trouble getting it hooked up at first, getting the direction of the wiring backwards in parts...but i got it working and have been playing around with it...the patch points are really close together and that could be a problem...it could help if i got patch cables that don't do the 'L' thing...and it'll definately help when i get it situated enough to label everything...but i was just doing an initial test run...actually my biggest problem may be that my regular guitar cables (going out from my guitar and into my amp) aren't too reliable and have shorts...oh well, it's workin' and shit and i can't wait 'til my guitar "rig" is fully transformed into the ballstomp-machine it's destined to become...an' shit...also, after work i sat down in the study and finishing reading Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky (marking the first time i've actually sat in read in the study...i feel so uh, cultured or something...)
