adventures in babysitting...w/out the babysitting...and adventure...
before i went to work, i placed a bid on this Boss digital delay/pitch shifter pedal...upon later checking of my email, i found that i won said item...sweet...work was a little busy...but we (the rush drivers) were let go a little early...and the closers were gonna pick up the main load...(though Tony P., a new guy, is pretty dern slow...) i went over to Jacques and (sl)Amber's...Justin was there too...Jacques just got the new Grand Theft Auto...that was played some...then we went to eat at Chile's...shortly after we got there, Camy's called...but in the situation i was in, i wasn't able to go in...(i wasn't on call or anything for the time...) i drank a ton of MAN-GO flavored tea...sweet...when we returned, it was almost time for me to call back work anyway (though still not quite) so, since i had already been called, i called back and went in...it was a little busy...though had a decent driver been working instead of Tony P. (i use the "p" not to confuse him w/ the other Tony, who is the only night driver that's been there longer than i have...we're both the "top drivers"...exciting stuff...and that's how we refer to him at work (Tony P.) for the reasons previously stated...) i made more the second shift and i didn't work quite as long either...so i guess that's okay...both shifts combined, i made almost as much as i made closing last night...and i only worked maybe a total of 6 hrs...the crew was still up when i got off so i went back over thura...they had been watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre and i caught the tail end of it...then we watched Ghostbusters...i hadn't seen it in MANY years...i wouldn't've thought it'd be so great...as so many comedies i thought were when i was a wee lad...but it is...a blockbuster comedy that actually manages to be really funny...go figure...well, Bill Murray's greatness plays no small part in that...and i'm home now...woo...
