Fabric
Mary Beth and I went to our second Indie Memphis screening last night to see In Fabric, the latest Peter Strickland movie. It was good, probably not as good as his other two though. The audience laughed at a lot of stuff I didn't think was funny, but just good in an absurd way. There were a few parts that were definitely trying to be funny and they were the biggest drag on the atmosphere (I mean, maybe those other parts were supposed to be funny, but to me they were just threading an absurd texture). They had the Dia de los Muertos thing today and I got some tamales, nachos, churros, and horchata. Had to move my desk again at the end of the day. This time it's the final move (at least as far as this particular construction marathon goes).
