Lambda
I played a show last night at The Lamplighter. I was inspired by Paul's using my Korg Lambda synth so the next show I did I wanted to use it. So I had that and the MiniBrute and an analog delay. So it was a very keyboardy set for me. I just used the strings and chorus on the Lambda for some chord drones (I'd planned on using other stuff like the "percussive" sounds at some point, but then I guess I got locked into a track with what I was doing but that's fine, probably didn't need it anyway) and I used the MiniBrute for bleepy-bloopy sorts of stuff. I played first and that was my set. There were not many people at this one, but oh well. Friendly Spectres who's on tour played next. His stuff was good. A bit synth pop with elements of shoegaze. Or he sounded a lot like a poppier Soft Moon. He played guitar (through pedals, lots of delay) and sang with the rest as backing tracks. I got his cd Promised Land after the show. Then neon glittery played and her set was really good. I got a t-shirt from her (she finally made one in my size!). I had trouble falling asleep later at home so tired now. That's about it.
