Crawfish, Rocks, Wires
Mary Beth and I walked down to the crawfish festival shortly after it opened. We, of course, got some crawfish and took it back home and ate it on the front stoop and it was delicious. And it was a day much like most of the the crawfish festival days, really lovely weather that feels like the real solid beginning of spring. Then after that we went out to the Agricenter for the rock/gem show. When we got there we parked next to a van that had a "honk if you're Devo" sticker. I hadn't been to the Agricenter in forever. There were lots of rock and stones and gems and stuff. Later at night I worked on music for my upcoming show. I quickly found out that the initial patch I put together (before powering anything on to hear it) wasn't going to work at all. It was relying on my burst module but that doesn't nearly go slow enough for the tempo I wanted. Anyway, I figured out a different way to do what I was aiming to do and am happy with it. Also getting other patches in. Still got some more to go but getting happy with what I've got so far. Fun as far as sounds go and fun as far as problem solving/programming go.
