I went to see Inland Empire screening at Crosstown last night. Probably hadn't seen it since close to when the dvd came out. At the time I'd like it and thought it was underrated and I think I liked it even more seeing it again. I do remember the video quality feeling off in places from before, but it was even more lo-res feeling than I'd remembered (even after this new restoration) especially towards the beginning. But it really gets into its mood as it goes on. I ran into Zach and Kole afterwards and we talked for a little bit. But it's a long-ass movie and it was late (a few groups of people didn't make it through the whole way, hah).
