Last night Mary Beth and I went up to pandh for Jessie's birthday thingie. It was a little touch and go as I'd gotten pretty sick last night. I had a pretty bad stomachache and some of those consequences from that. I eventually got to where we were able to make it out. It was a good time. I had a pretty exceptional karaoke moment for myself. I wasn't sure what to expect as it's not a song I'd envisioned myself singing so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to pull it off. I kinda surprised myself. Oh yeah, the song was fuckin' "Vitamin C." So I do a pretty bad Damo Suzuki impersonation through the verses (or whatever they are) and my scream at the "Hey you!" was something, a surprise even to myself. The song was kinda low through the pa, so it was pretty jarring how loud I was. I could tell people were taken aback (both positively and negatively). So it was pretty sweet. And didn't expect any Can so it was a pleasant surprise. Also even more surprising, I saw Jason has a fuckin' Von LMO song in his rotation. Holy shit! I saw it after I'd put in the Can, but had I seen it first I probably would have gone for it, but I'm glad I sang what I sang. I'll definitely have to go back soon to do it. I'd started feeling a little better for a lot of it, but then after a bit my stomach started hurting worse. This was close to the time we had to leave anyway. As we had to get up early this morning for my cousin's wedding.
