Had a Memphis for Bernie meeting yesterday afternoon. Not a whole lot. I did get several shout-outs for my work maintaining the technology stuff during the debate watch paty so that was nice. In the evening Mary Beth and I took to watching some Nathan for You. My only prior knowledge of the show was following that Dumb Starbucks thing last year or so (which I was admittedly pretty obsessed with for that day before the announcement). Mary Beth had been hearing talk about how good the new season was in so I was up for it. Well, we started from the beginning and watched all of the first season last night. Holy goddamn shit. We were both laughing so hard it hurt, literally. Mary Beth keeps talking about how dangerously funny the show is ("people aren't supposed to laugh this much" and referring to instances where people had heart attacks from laughing too hard, my only concern was laughing too hard to be able to hear what was happening while I was laughing). Also finished the season of Master of None at some point (had made it through, but I wasn't around for a few episodes in the middle so we went back to those). It's a really good show (love the title sequence for each episode) so I feel bad talking about it in the same post as Nathan for You (as, no, it's not laugh out loud funny to the point you think you might physically die, but I can't remember any show I laughed at that much). Anyway, back to work today. So did working stuff. Ta-da!
