Properties

Everything's getting to be a frenzied blur lately. All this back-and-forth trying to figure out what to do about the future and our living situation. I went up to Crosstown in the early afternoon for a little "talking head" thing. They just shot me in the Green Room doing a brief little introduction of the festival that they'll edit together for a little clip to share online. I started off okay but then kept getting awkward. Jay also joined me and did one too and theirs was much better. It's that thing where when you know it will be edited it makes it worse and then you keep going back and redoing stuff. I'm sure it wasn't the worst but I felt awkward and with all the stress of the apartment situation it kinda caught up with me. Later in the afternoon we looked at an apartment. It's nearby in the neighborhood, we walk past it all the time. It's a VERY similar analog to our current one. Rent would be a little more and it's just a little bit smaller (though pretty comparable in features, first story of a duplex, three bedroom, two bath, property is a little neglected...on the other hand it's run by one of those big corporations). Then after that we went and drove around neighborhoods looking for for-rent or for-sale signs. Just to get an idea. Still all completely overwhelming. I guess that's about it for now.
