Blueshift
Mary Beth and I played a bit more Lost Cities throughout the day yesterday. At night I went up to Crosstown to see Blueshift Ensemble do their yearly performances of the Iceberg composers' works (though this year no one from Iceberg came down from New York because of obvious pandemic reasons). It was good. There were five pieces. I'd gotten a seat in the back and there was no one sitting near me and that was nice. A little before it started a guy came and asked if a seat was taken, there were three seats between me and the man at the other end of the row, so sure, we still had a space between each of us, fine. Then halfway through the show, during the third piece, the guy in the middle scoots over as two of his friends come to fill in all the seats. Fuckin' lot of assholes. So I got up and stood the rest of the show.
