Yesterday evening Mary Beth and I started to go walk down to the mailbox to mail something, but then right after we set out it started raining so we turned around and just drove down to the corner instead. Now I'm back to working from home! So that's nice. I meant to mention yesterday that I finally truly understand the horrors of covid-mask fog. I pretty much never wear glasses (for the better part of a decade), but there was a bit going on on a big screen in the war room and I'd decided when I couldn't read it well I could just follow along on my laptop, but going back and forth and trying to find where we were, it'd take a bit longer than just looking up at the screen would, so I brought my glasses yesterday. With my mask on, the literal instant I put the glasses on my face they completely fogged up. I did figure out how to adjust it so they sat a little farther down my nose on top of the mask just a bit, but for a second I was like, how the fuck is this supposed to work at all? Anyway, there's my mask-glasses-fog story.
