Mary Beth and I went to the Dixon to attend this lecture on Mary Sims for the current exhibit. It was a nice lecture. Then we had the chance to see the exhibit again, but this time without all of the flower show stuff and it was a good bit more extensive! There were a lot of paintings added that couldn't have been there while the flower show was going on so it was almost like a completely whole new exhibit! So that was definitely pretty awesome, and there were some really good ones in there. Plus it had early ones before she developed her style so it was cool to see them and they're good in their own way. Then we spent some time wandering the garden though there was some event going on in the main lawn and we weren't able to go that way. Then trying to get to our car, there was this mother bird with her baby that we kept running into and trying to go around to avoid bothering them. That was the main event of the day. At night we watched more Female Trouble bonus stuff.
