ateolfWent on a neighborhood walk with Mary Beth after work. Later at night we watched Female Trouble and that was fun, I laughed a good deal. I've had this weird rash on my arm now for over a week. It's right at my inner elbow so I think that's compounding its impact. I'd keep think it was getting better but then I wouldn't be sure if the signs I took for getting better were it actually getting worse. Aside from not looking great, it's only been a very mild itch. Finally last night I broke down and rubbed some aloe vera on it (thanks to Mary Beth reminding me we have that big plant to use!). Not sure if that's doing anything as of yet.
I meant to bring this up in my last post and I forgot, but after the show at Crosstown the other night, we went over to Art Bar. As we went over we saw a huge group of people leaving so we were like this will be good timing! And it was, we hit just this little window where we got to sit and got our order taken care of immediately. But almost right after that another huge crowd converged on it. When we were parking earlier, it had seemed like something must be going on there, so with these additional signs, I looked it up and sure enough Wu Tang Clan was there at the Crosstown Theater (getting some award from Stax Academy, not like a show or anything, but maybe they'd do a little performance as part of the ceremony? not sure...and then it's like, oh yeah, they're in town anyway for that festival downtown this weekend). Anyway, nothing big, it was just funny connecting the dots and realizing your suspicious was very correct and accurate.
